Joseph Grassi

Joseph is a lawyer and the Principal of Joseph Grassi + Associates, a law firm based in Penrith.

Penrith is home for Joseph and his family, and he has a keen interest in the local community and a strong desire to see the region prosper. Over the years, he has contributed to a number of community and professional organisations. Joseph was a member of the Sydney West Area Health Service Research and Ethics Committee, a member of the AustLaw Executive, a Director of Syd-West Personnel Pty Ltd, and Vice-President of the Penrith Valley Chamber of Commerce Inc.

In 2011, Joseph was appointed to the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District Board, where he served as Chair of the Finance and Performance Committee. His tenure on the Board concluded on 30 June 2021.

Joseph's commitment to the local health sector continued following his service on the Board. He was instrumental in establishing the Nepean Blue Mountains Education and Medical Research Foundation Limited, known as the Nepean Foundation. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Foundation, supporting its mission to advance medical research, education, and healthcare outcomes across the Nepean Blue Mountains region.
